Who We Are
I started working for IBM while I was working my way through college for a Computer Information Systems Degree. I built my first PC in the early 1990s and fell in love with technology. After college, I certified with Microsoft with my MCSE+Internet, then some hardware certifications, then I started working with Fiber Channel storage for research and development division at Dell. This kicked off my career as a Storage consultant supporting many companies, from the Federal Government(all our military, FBI, NSA, FAA, White House Communications Agency as well as State and Local Government Agencies), Telecoms (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T), Big Tech companies (Dell, IBM, Hitachi, and just about any company in Silicon Valley) and just about ever company in-between.
I retired from my Consulting work back in 2015, and my focus changed over to privacy. The worlds view on privacy and security had changed drastically. Mine had changed, and I realized how dangerous it had become. In the early 2000s we started giving away our privacy for convenience. This was a big leap then and it was a struggle to get people to comply, but the convenience seemed to outway the danger. Plus, everyone was doing it, so social media grew. Technology grew; Google took over the Tech Search market to the point to "search" for something online is just called "googling". iPhones came out and now you had a computer in your pocket, so companies started writing apps to "promote" their offering to the consumer for free! But, it wasn't for free.
Now we have a generation who has never been without Technology, and have always been plugged into the Matrix, and do not recognize the dangers of giving your private information away. So, I made a change, starting with myself, then my family and now my services. I focus on restoring a balance between privacy of the end user and convenience of our Technology. It starts with knowledge. We need to understand what is being taken, which devices are doing the taking, and what are the consequences if we stop them from taking the data. It is a balancing act, but we all need to come to a conviction of what is important to us. I can help you understand what the technology is doing, and how to limit the technology so you can balance it out. I can help you in research on these subjects, and point you in the right direction so you can gain that knowledge.
We can take our PRIVACY back, one user at a time!
